Yulia Zainetdinova

My daughter Yulia was born in July 2004. Two months later, she started coughing... We went from hospital to hospital for 1.5 years, and in 2007 she was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at the Russian Children's Clinical Hospital.

Presently we need Colimycin for her treatment. The amount of this drug required for a two-month treatment course costs 60,000 roubles (about $1800).

I am a physician at an out-patient medical facility, and my wife has no job now: she raises our two children and takes care of our ill daughter. We have no money to buy this drug. Please help us!

Yulia Zainetdinova, b. 2004, is a patient of the Department of Medical Genetics. Diagnosis: cystic fibrosis, grave combined form, diffuse pulmonary sclerosis, chronic Ps. aeruginosa infection, chronic pulmonary heart disease. Bacteriological examinations in recent years show culture growth of Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Pseudomonas aeruginosa muc, susceptible to Polymyxin B (Colimycin, Colistin).

The child needs long-term antibacterial inhalation therapy with Colimycin, 1 amp (1 MU) twice a day for 60 days.
