I am the mother of Natalia Vasilchenko, born 1991. Mu daugher is ill, and
we need Keppra, an anticonvulsant.
My daughter had her first epileptic fit at an age of four. We received treatment at the
regional pediatric hospital a number of times, but there was no visible result. The number
of fits per day could be 50 or even 70.
Since 2005, we have been receiving treatment at the Department of Psychoneurology No. 1,
Russian Children's Clinical Hospital, Moscow. Here, the doctors have selected a new drug
named Keppra for our therapy. It reduced the number of fits per day greatly, to one or two.
Now my daughter can believe in normal further life. Her physical and moral condition
has become much better, and her inferiority complex is almost gone.
I am a nurse at a village hospital. I have been helping children all my life, but I can't help
my own daughter now. The amount of the drug necessary for her is 3 packs of 1000-mg
tablets per month, and its cost is three times higher than my monthly salary! My daughter
is to take this drug at least for a year.
I hope that readers of this Web site will not stay indifferent to our trouble.

The doctor's comment
Patient of the Department of Psychoneurology Natalia Vasilchenko, b. 1991,
needs 3 packs of Keppra (30 tab., 1000 mg each) per month for therapy of epilepsy.
This drug should be taken for the entire next year. It is vitally important for the child's health.
