New Year celebrations in 2010

Our tireless volunteers organized a unique African-style New Year celebration at the House of Hope cottage for hospital patients. A charming Santa Claus named Kevin arrived straight from Africa, accompanied by Snow Maiden Tania from Russia. The party lasted several hours: games, competitions, songs, and even a real African New Year dance!
And, of course, every child got the present of his or her dreams from Santa Claus.

As to children from the new rehabilitation center for orphan patients, they participated in a sightseeing bus journey all over Moscow. They saw the Moscow circus and then the Christmas tree at the Tverskaya Square (near the monument to Prince Yuri Dolgorukiy, founder of Moscow), where the children were greeted by Santa Claus and Snow Maiden and got their presents.
We want to thank our dear friend, guide Elena Sharmanova, who organized this wonderful event for the children!
