I am asking you to help my daughter Kristina. She is fourteen.
The trouble struck our family in December 2006 and was quite unexpected. Kristina suddenly
fell seriously ill. It was a huge retroperitoneal tumor. Specialists at our local hospital
could not diagnose it and sent us first to Voronezh and then to Moscow.
And we learned our final diagnosis at the Russian Children's Clinical Hospital: ganglioneuroblastoma
stage 3.
After four courses of chemotherapy, the tumor does not shrink. Russian surgeons
refuse to operate it, but German specialists are less sure. They offer more precise
diagnosis and maybe a surgery at a German clinic. This offer is our last chance.
But 30 thousand euro is such an enormous sum!
I am just a hospital nurse, and Kristina's father is a security guard, which does not
mean a high salary in our region. We do not
earn much. We are ready to get over any difficulties to cure our only and beloved child. But we
cannot raise such an enormous sum without your help.
Please give a chance to our girl!
With hope, O. Kobzeva

News
18.03.2009 Kristina Kobzeva is back from Germany.
She has recovered from the surgical operation. She is feeling fine, and the physicians in Germany
are satisfied with the results of her treatment at the present moment. Kristina's parents thank all people who
have helped.
5.02.2009 We have some news about Kristina Kobzeva.
She went to Germany with her father on January 26, and yesterday we learned that Kristina has already had
her operation, which lasted six hours and was successful. We wish this girl to recover after this difficult
surgery as soon as possible.
26.10.2008
For the time being, we are interrupting the fundraising for the benefit of
Kristina Kobzeva. The sum necessary for
the girl's examination in Germany has been raised. Presently Kristina is waiting
for a reply from the German clinic, where the date of the examination will be set. If,
according to the results of this exam, the German physicians decide that an operation
is possible, fundraising for Kristina will be resumed. Please pray for the girl's health!
