We will never be able to give you an answer to the question: Why do children fall ill?… We do not know. We can definitely say, what to do, though. Just be by their side.

For over 22 years we have been giving help to seriously ill children in the Russian Children’s Clinical Hospital (RCCH), having started as a small group of volunteers who took care of just a few patients to ultimately become a charitable foundation supervising a major hospital. Throughout our history we have developed the principles of charity work that we are trying to follow every day.

That was the aim of our site throughout the years 1998-2011.

Everyone can contribute to the common cause at any time through donations, participation, and compassion.

In the last 50 years medicine has made a real breakthrough: people have learned to cure illnesses which were previously considered to be incurable. At the same time, though, medicine has become increasingly inhumane. Treatment procedures frequently fail to include the so-called human element. This is less true of children’s hospitals.
